Park Regis North Quay is looking for a Full Time Duty Manager
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the ability to excel within a 4 star apartment hotel. You will also bring with you excellent presentation and communication skills and proven guest services experience within a similar hotel environment.
Responsibilities & skill requirements:
• You will be required to manage the day to day operations of the hotel
• A solid knowledge of all Rooms Division areas including Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, Telecommunications and Guest Services
• The ability to work closely with all departments and manage staff effectively
• The ability to take the correct actions concerning the safety, security and well-being of all hotel guests, patrons and staff in the absence of senior management
• The ability to review daily arrivals to ensure proper handling of VIP's, return guests and groups and be able to block rooms
• Ability to control room rates and inventory via Siteminder (basic understanding is preferable)
• Excellent computer system skills including working knowledge of Hirum (or similar)
• Flexibility with various shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Exceptional customer service skills
• The ability to work well under pressure, handle and deal with complaints effectively
