About the Position
We are seeking to recruit five Construction Workers who will work under the guidance of the Executive Coordinator Construction Services .
Based at one of Council's Depots, these positions will form part of a work team undertaking construction works as required by Council's works program.
Key Deliverables of the position:
Below are six dot points detailing the key deliverables of the role over the next 12 months.
•Perform highly skilled and specialised tasks associated with construction/maintenance of civil engineering works.
•Construction of stormwater drainage pipelines, manholes, gully pits, outlet structure and associated works.
•Asphaltic concrete repairs to roadways and bikeways.
•Laying and finishing concrete for kerb and channel, footpaths, bikeways and associated works including exposed aggregate, stencilled and stamped concrete.
•Following designated safe work practices and performing a high standard of work
