BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

The Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the BDM will be responsible for driving growth in the disability sector. The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new government insurance scheme with a $22B per annum budget.

This is a newly created position with a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated individual to shape and own the business development of a startup with exceptional growth potential. The role will appeal to a passionate and savvy sales person with a deep understanding of the B2B and B2C sales cycle.

While the sector focus may be new, this person will have a proven track record but also want to take on the challenge of a fast growing lean startup.

This person will:

Work with the CEO to refine sales models and strategy

Build and manage the sales pipeline

Work to set up and convert large B2B partnerships

Key Selection Criteria

Hit 100 is looking for an entrepreneurial, dynamic, growth-focused person with the following:

Bachelor (or Masters) degree in a relevant discipline

3+ years work experience in one of the following or similar industries in Business Development:

Pharma, Life and/or Health Insurance, Recruitment, Healthcare, Wellness, Fitness, Aged Care or Assisted Living

3+ years work experience in account management with a track record of driving business growth

High level of flexibility and a positive approach to the challenging demands of high-growth start-up

Works methodically and demonstrates a respect for process adherence, whilst continuously seeking opportunities to improve the status quo

Works to an extremely high level of attention to detail and demonstrates a passion for excellence

Strong people skills to foster positive stakeholder relationships and internal capacity building

Commitment to Hit 100's values; generosity, empathy, integrity, courage and optimism

Genuinely cares about improving the health of communities in Australia and abroad

The BDM has an exciting opportunity to play a critical role in the initial setup and subsequent management of the sales process of Hit 100's growth. There is considerable room for this role to grow and expand in scope and responsibility in a fast-paced start-up environment. The remuneration package has been structured to attract high-calibre, experienced candidates, and may include a company equity component.
