Illawarra Coal is a long term and leading coking coal supplier which operates two underground metallurgical coal mines, two preparation plants and a logistics chain.
Reporting to the Superintendent Work Management Planning, we are currently seeking an Electrical Planner to bring their knowledge and skills to join the team at Illawarra. The role of the Planner is to develop and communicate plans and schedules in accordance with the SAP Work Management processes.
What the Role Entails
Create and plans SAP work orders as per defined scope and area of responsibility that enables effective deployment of resources (personnel, service providers and materials);
Comply with the SAP Work Management processes to schedule work based on the prioritisation as determined by Production and Maintenance requirements;
Provide a 12 week schedule (weekly granularity) and a week plus 1 weekly work schedule to the Production Planning sub function on a weekly basis;
Schedule work based on the prioritisation of the task and in compliance with the SAP Work Management processes and re-schedule work based on the associated risk, and feedback from the Execution team;
Build and communicate accurate work schedules, reflecting all work management activities;
Confirm agreement by the relevant stakeholders and stakeholder sign off, of the work schedule for applicable area of scope;
Request and govern the creation and change of Work Management Master Data, based on equipment strategy reviews, failure analysis and identified quality errors, including Master Data related to modifications and small projects;
Identify and create corrective / non strategy task lists for reoccurring work to support efficient and effective planning.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Electrical Trade Qualification with post trade experience in Heavy Industry, preferably the Underground Coal Mining Industry;
Sound knowledge & experience using SAP/CMMS maintenance systems;
Maintenance Planning experience in a similar role;
Experience with MS Office suite, especially MS Excel;
Be self-motivated and proactive in your approach and focused on continuous improvement.
