Boeing Defence Australia’s Helicopter Aircrew Training System (HATS) Program is responsible for the development and support of the Australian Navy and Army Joint Helicopter School, featuring brand new aircraft and a suite of synthetic training devices.
We are now recruiting for an ALSE Independent Inspector, to help us deliver this premier Australian Defence Force training capability.
Based in Nowra (Shoalhaven region – 2 ½ hrs drive to Sydney) – known for beautiful landscapes, recreational activities and business services, with a family friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Company relocation on offer.
This role will be responsible for the Inspection, Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul, and Troubleshooting of the HATS aircraft life support equipment and aircrew rescue and survival equipment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Initiative, problem-solving skills, prioritisation skills and ability to work to tight timeframes with limited supervision.
Certificate III in Aeroskills (Aircraft Life Support & Furnishing), or equivalent trade qualification.
Minimum 5 years experience in maintenance of ALSE equipment, with minimum 2 years’ experience as fully qualified trade supervisor on relevant aeronautical product.
