This is a Casual position – located in Newcastle, NSW
Multi-purpose iconic event venue incorporating 7 function rooms

Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager

Your responsibilities will include:
The efficient / fast service of food and beverages
A high level of customer service
The ability to set up and pack down functions
To assist with the upkeep/ cleaning of the working environment and operational requirements
Adherence to food hygiene and occupational health and safety standards.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
Proven experience in a functions and events hospitality environment (or 5 star hotels)
A passion for great food and customer service
The ability to carry a tray of drinks and 3 plates
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent personal grooming
A positive ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to smile!
Good time management skills and an ability to prioritise and multi-task
To be able to take ownership and responsibility
Ability to work proactively to help others in a team environment
Availability across 7 days – day and evening
To succeed in this role, you will have previous experience in a similar role working in a busy function/ event environment.
You will be able to work unsupervised and can communicate effectively in a team. You will be a very well presented and self-motivated individual who has excellent organisational and communication skills.
You will share our vision for providing high level of customer service and client satisfaction.
