Disability Employment Services (DES) helps people with disability, injury or health condition get ready to look for a job, find a job and keep a job. As a major DES Provider, APM has a national footprint with more than 1000 employees in over 400 different locations in all states and territories of Australia. With business growth due to reallocation, APM is looking for a Business Manager to lead our Wollongong Team.

What are APM looking for?

Our slogan is simple - Enabling Better Lives – three words that drive everything we do.

At APM your worth as a Business Manager will not be judged solely by Employment Anchors, the APM measure of high performance will also be the importance you place on engaging and communicating with your Team to mentor, develop and retain great employees.

What can APM offer you?

Job Security – our contract performance is very strong, there is no angst, no trauma at Start Rating time, we already know what to expect, the plans have already been put in place and we just get on with the job of delivering services.

Commitment to our Employees - our strong leadership team and employee retention rates is just another thing we are very proud of.

Commitment to our Customers - our Teams are small, we know our communities and our caseloads numbers reflect the level of service we are committed to deliver. Employer incentives are provided to assist in securing employment opportunities.

Involvement: we want every Manager to feel they have the opportunity to be involved, to propose new processes or service innovations. Planning is well underway for the APM Leadership Conference in February.

Performance Culture: yes there are KPI targets and they are reset every month, but targets are achievable and again we know what works, and we have the reputation to support it.

Recognition: APM is committed to providing regular feedback and recognition to every level of the business on performance, growth prospects, and accomplishments.

At APM we want your role as Business Manager to provide you with professional growth opportunities and the satisfaction that comes with completing a job well done! The very first ICREATE Story will be your own
