This is ideal opportunity for an experienced Accountant with payroll experience either currently working in an accounts role in health or is seeking to enter the medical industry.

The Company

Our client is a leading imaging company specialising in providing high quality medical imaging technology to rural locations throughout Australia. The company is a dynamic, fast growing company and currently there are 15 locations in Australia. Head Office is located in Sydney CBD.

The Role

Our client is seeking a motivated and friendly Accountant to join their team on a permanent full time basis.

The main objective of the role is to provide accounting and payroll support in the finance department.


Your role will include (but not limited to) the following:

ACCOUNTS
· AR and AP – including but not limited to invoicing and following up debtors, purchase orders, processing purchase invoices, debit cards reconciliation, liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
· Bank reconciliation on a daily basis
· Month-End Tasks – including but not limited to prepayments, accruals, expense recharges, P&L;, FA management, B/S reconciliations.
· Lodgements
· Ad-hoc administrative tasks

PAYROLL
Maintain and process fortnightly end to end payroll for Australia & New Zealand employees across multiple business units
· Manage pay enquiries
· Calculating, processing payroll liabilities, including processing related journals and reconciliations
· Manage monthly payroll related reporting and ad hoc reports
· Maintaining employee records
· Resolve payroll discrepancies
· Payroll tax calculation and lodgement

The ideal candidate will have the following attributes:-
• Possession of an undergraduate degree in accounting
• Previous experience performing day to day accounts functions with a business as well as processing payroll for a team of more than 150
• Dynamic, driven, self motivated and enthusiastic about your work

• Proactive and initiative
