KPMG's Enterprise business has been helping clients in the mid-market sector for over a century. Our dedicated team works with privately owned companies, family businesses, smaller listed companies, foreign owned subsidiaries, professional partnerships and superannuation funds, providing them with a range of audit, tax, accounting and business advisory services.
An opportunity is now available in the Tax and Accounting Group in Wollongong for an experienced, high performing Manager.
Your new role:
The provision of tax and accounting advice and solutions to diverse private and listed businesses as well as high net wealth individuals, professionals, NFPs and SMEs
Assisting with the delivery of compliance services to a range of clients, including financial statements tax effect accounting, income tax returns and FBT returns
Develop an in depth knowledge of your client businesses; take a proactive and solutions-focused approach to discover and consult about opportunities which add value to their operational management and future planning
Oversee and mentor other less experienced members of the team and supporting their skill development and career growth
Manage a portfolio of clients, including managing the business metrics and KPIs
You bring to the role:
Hands on experience in private clients/middle market gained in another professional services or similar environment
Excellent tax technical capabilities gained through the relevant qualifications –completion of CA or CPA is essential
A positive attitude, drive and motivation for learning & continued professional growth
Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and a demonstrated ability to build enduring client relationships
Experience in reviewing the work of less experienced team members
Experience in managing a portfolio of clients, including the associated business reporting
