Continuing our growth is the exciting new acquisition of Garrison Support Services for the Australian Defence Force (ADF).
We are seeking suitably qualified health professionals to provide medical services to ADF bases Albatross, in Nowra.
The roles will be offered initially for a contract period of two (2) years commencing 1 November 2016.
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivery of clinical care to Defence Personnel in accordance with professional standards, legislation and Defence policies and procedures. Duties vary depending on facilities and additional information will be available to applicants later in the recruitment process.
To be successful you will:
Be an Australian Citizen
Hold or have ability to hold a baseline clearance
Registered Nurse division 1, holding a current unconditional registration with APHRA
A minimum of 2 years post graduate recent experience in one or more of the following acute clinical specialties: medical, surgical, accident & emergency environment, and intensive care.
Recent experience in one or more of the following: emergency, general and acute mental health, infection control, rehabilitation, health promotion/education
Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training/qualification or equivalent
Demonstrated venepuncture and cannulation skills
Previous experience working with the Australian defence force
