Gearhouse Broadcast offers one of Australia's largest inventories of high definition broadcast equipment including the latest HD broadcast camera systems, lenses, VTRs, EVS workflow solutions, graphics tools, radio cameras and audio technology including large scale RF systems, monitors and transport systems.
Based in our Head Office in Mascot and reporting to the Audio & Communications Supervisor and Warehouse Manager, the Audio/ Warehouse Assistant will be responsible for the maintenance, preparation, programming and assignment of all audio equipment for projects. Audio, RF and Fibre Optic problem solving are key requirements of the opportunity and therefore you need to demonstrate ability to test, fault- find and co-ordinate repair of audio equipment.
It is a full time, permanent opportunity that will require both week day and weekend work.
As part of the Warehouse Team, the Audio/Warehouse Assistant will also be responsible for warehousing duties. These include but are not limited to; asset management via barcode scanning, good receipting of new assets, truck loading/unloading, warehouse cleanliness and stocktakes.
For you to be considered for this opportunity, you will need to be able to demonstrate Audio, RF & Fibre Optic experience as well as problem solving capability. You need to be a fast learner, self-motivated, independent with the capability of working under pressure with short timelines. You will also need excellent attention to detail with sound computer skills (Excel) and IP knowledge. A current forklift licence is desirable.
