CHIEF FINANCE OFFICER / CFO – LISTED TECH STARTUP

Well funded and moving out of startup phase our client has begun the next phase of growth and is starting to expand into Asia. This is a scalable business that benefits from a loyal and diverse client portfolio. The executive team has developed a sound strategy and is committed to delivering increased market share in what is a booming market.
THE BRIEF
As Finance Director/CFO you will partner with the CEO, executing strategic growth strategies (including Asian expansion), while ensuring the financial integrity of the business. As CFO of a publicly listed business, it is critical that you immediately gain the confidence of the board, investors, analysts and the market.
The key deliverables of the CFO include:
Gain the trust and confidence of analysts and the investor community by delivering compelling financial presentations (evidenced by feedback from analysts and the board of directors).
Support the commercial growth of the business via profitable pricing, contract negotiation and effective capital management.
Help drive Asian expansion with investor roadshows and financial presentations.
Implement new performance metrics to help the business identify areas for increasing profitability and productivity.
Maintain a robust risk and governance framework.
Deliver accurate and timely year/half-year statutory and regulatory reporting.
THE PERSON
Our client is looking for a unique individual. To be considered for an interview, candidates must fit the following profile:
Proven experience in a lead finance role with an ASX listed business.
A compelling storyteller and presenter, someone with the ability to influence key stakeholders through verbal, written and visual communication.
A ‘must do’ attitude. A proven capability to solve complex problems and an approach that will ‘make things happen’.
The ability to get results with limited resources.

EXPERIENCE
CA/CPA qualified.
ASX statutory reporting.
Corporate finance, financial modelling, investor presentations.
A sound understanding of the SaaS global landscape including operating model, pricing metrics and contract negotiation.
