The Nurse Educator is responsible for the planning and development of education and training programs for the ISLHD Renal Service. These programs will serve to facilitate the development of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, culminating in the provision of quality patient care. The Nurse Educator will work closely with the Renal Nurse Manager to facilitate and support the delivery of these educational programs at the site level. The Nurse Educator will also work closely with the Clinical Nurse Educators and Clinical Nurse Specialists with implementation, education and review of relevant Policy and Procedures relating to clinical practice across the District. The position is based at Wollongong but traveling to the other sites is required.
