Jamaica Blue is one of Australia's most successful hospitality franchise companies with a growing network of over 170 cafés operating in 7 countries.
Working in the field with Jamaica Blue Franchisees and reporting to the Food Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the franchise network in an effort to take the Jamaica Blue food offer to a whole new level!
As Jamaica Blue continues to grow, we require an energetic, customer-focused person, to join our team of Food Consultants or "Foodies" as we like to call them!
As a Food Consultant you will support different Jamaica Blue cafes in your state and work with the Franchisee as an active staff member to improve cabinet standards, plating and food presentation, food safety, ordering systems, general kitchen work flow and operations!
Please note that this is a highly mobile role, and as such, will suit a person wanting to move into multi-site responsibility. You will need to have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a demanding and competitive environment. You are self-motivated and flexible with a hands-on approach to your work. You have experience in all aspects of retail food and/or hospitality operations with extensive experience in food preparation and food training.
Ideally, the successful Foodie will have:
A minimum of 4 years' experience in a café or commercial kitchen.
Chef trade qualifications, or equivalent experience.
Working as a Food Consultant you will receive extensive training and will have the opportunity to grow your skills professionally and personally. You will have the opportunity to develop your business, finance skills and marketing skills.
Location location location!
Travel is also involved with this role! Although this role will be based in Sydney it will require travel throughout New South Wales and Australia.
