CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Customer Service Officer to work in our Customer Service department and provide excellent service to internal and external customers.

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA:

Certificate III in customer service, business administration or other relevant discipline
Substantial relevant skills and experience in customer service
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work duties
Demonstrated ability to work and contribute to a team environment
Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated and reliable, and to work with minimal supervision
Computer skills including the ability to adapt to new software programs and understanding of information systems

DESIRABLE CRITERIA:

Certificate IV in customer service, business administration or other relevant discipline
Current Class C driver's license
Justice of the Peace (JPs) Certificate
Cash handling experience

Conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government State Award, relevant legislation and Council's policies and procedures.

The position is a Grade 10 under Council's salary system with a salary up to $1006.22 per week.
