About the Role:
As a member of our Major Projects group you will be an integral part of a team responsible for submitting large tenders for major projects across Australia and New Zealand. Your role will be to evaluate the requirements and submit electrical engineering solutions using NHP’s vast array of products including power distribution, industrial control and automation.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare conforming and competitive bids to comply with RFT/RFQs
- Provide technical and application data to support proposals i.e. drawings, including network topologies, systems layouts, etc.
- Provide extensive solutions utilising the full suite of NHP products and services in proposals
- Provide support to Business Development and Sales Representatives to achieve their objectives
We are looking for a highly driven and motivated professional looking to use their electrical project knowledge to offer strategic solutions in a competitive environment.
This role requires in-depth understanding of the requirements around large electrical projects specifically involving; Power Distribution, Motor Control and Major Electrical Solutions & Services. You will need to have strong electrical project knowledge to be able to understand complex specifications and code requirements to be able to offer market leading solutions.
To be successful you will need:
- Strong electrical estimating and project management experience
- Previous experience in switchboards, power distributions and estimating is advantageous
- The ability to read and interpret single line diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
- A track record in driving and achieving successful project results in a competitive environment
- The proficiency to mentor and coach to improve performance whilst delivering results
- A personable approach and ability to work with a range of people
