CORPORATE STRATEGY ADMINISTRATION OFFICER

We are seeking a experienced Administration Officer to deliver high quality administrative support to the Corporate Strategy Team. Reporting to the Group Manager Corporate Strategy, you will have high level interpersonal, written and oral communication skills and experience in the use of Microsoft Office. A flexible approach to working hours is necessary as some evening and weekend work will be required.
Relevant qualification in Office Administration/Business Studies or job related experience in a similar role
High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated high level written and oral communication skills
Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including Word, Excel, Outlook Powerpoint and Access)
Demonstrated ability to undertake research and administer projects, including initiating and completing tasks with minimal supervision and a high level of attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, managing conflicting priorities and meeting deadlines
Enthusiasm and willingness to learn new skills in a changing environment
A minimum typing speed of 55wpm
Experience in working with MS Publisher and/or Indesign
This is a full time position and conditions of employment are in accordance with the Local Government State Award, relevant legislation and Council's policies and procedures. The position is Grade 11 under Council's salary system with a salary up to $1051.24 per week.
