Army operations rely on efficient mass movement of troops, equipment, armoured vehicles, fuel and supplies. Right now we're recruiting drivers to help maintain the efficiency and effectiveness of our distribution networks.
One of the great things about being a Driver Specialist in the Army is the variety of vehicles you'll experience. These include high-performance 4WDs, off road forklifts, trucks, road trains, fuel tankers and tank-carrying transporters. You may also be trained to drive landing craft and amphibious vehicles.
A member of a dynamic team of logistics professionals you'll learn important leadership and specialised skills while enjoying an active, outdoor lifestyle. Initially you only have to commit to 12 months service in the Army, and during this time you'll benefit from heavy vehicle training.

Pay and Benefits
We'll pay you as you train. Then on completion of military and employment training your starting salary will be at least $59,504 p.a. (including Allowances) plus generous Super. You'll also enjoy:

This role is open to men and women aged at least 17, who have completed Year 10 with passes in English and Mathematics and are Australian Citizens (or Permanent Residents). If you do not have the required passes you may be eligible to sit an Alternative Education Equivalency assessment.
