The Minova Team based in Nowra NSW is on the lookout for an experienced Draftsperson to join the company.
Reporting to the on-site Process Engineer for Manufacturing, the Draftsperson is responsible for all general manufacturing drafting including layouts, general arrangement, tooling drawings, detail drawings and product drawings for all the steel products which are manufactured on our Nowra and Smithfield sites.
Some site travel will be expected of the successful candidate.
Create and maintain work instructions, technical specifications and reports
Manage the on-site drawing and documentation system
Manage and coordinate small projects from concept to commissioning including planning, costing, ordering, provision of documentation and scheduling
Maintain Steel BOMs in SAP system
Assist Engineer in conducting reviews of manufacturing processes in order to improve efficiencies
Assist with CNC lathe programming and operating
Experience, Skills and Qualifications required:
Certificate IV in Engineering Drafting
Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade
Exposure to working with steel or fabrication is desirable but not essential
Competent with Autodesk Drafting Packages including Inventor and AutoCAD
Competent with programing and operation CNC Lathe with Faunc Controller
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Organised and able to meet deadlines
Able to work on several projects concurrently
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, or as part of a fully functioning multi-disciplined team.
