Salary $1482.89 to $1720.96 per week plus superannuation

Primarily you will be responsible for support, administration and delivery of solutions for Council's desktop computers, mobile devices, printers and software. You will use your customer focus, apply an innovative mindset and specialist technical skills to implement best practice solutions.
There are two positions available, one permanent full time, and one temporary for up to 12 months. An eligibility list may be formed as part of this recruitment.

Essential Selection Criteria:
Completed a tertiary qualification in Information Technology or a related discipline.
Proven experience in the provision of technical advice, diagnosis and support services.
Proven experience in the deployment of software applications, upgrades and hardware systems.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team situation.
Demonstrated ability to focus on customer needs in all dealings.
Demonstrated experience in clearly and concisely relating technical problems to all customers and service providers at the appropriate level of complexity.
Demonstrated self-starter with a proven ability to work with minimal supervision.
Demonstrated ability to manage projects in a multi-skilled, multi-tasking environment to meet agreed organisational priorities and deadlines.
Well-developed interpersonal and written communication skills.
Proven experience in diagnosing, resolving and reporting on relevant technical problems and issues.
Possess contemporary knowledge of systems, technology and IT best practices.
Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Employment Equity and Diversity (EED) principles.
Desirable Selection Criteria:
Possess current Class C driver's licence.
