About the business and the role

IMTS is the central provider of IT services for the University of Wollongong with a broad strategic mandate to provide best practice IT infrastructure, services and support.

The Client Services Unit provides a coordinated point of contact for staff, students and the UOW community. The Unit provides various service delivery modes including a centre phone number, desk side support, self-service support and online request service.

The core responsibility of this position is to provide effective first level support to the UOW community for all service requests, including incident diagnosis, troubleshooting and accurate recording of calls received and resolution activities.
