GP Synergy is a leading provider of general practice training funded by the Australian Government to deliver vocational training to doctors seeking to specialise as general practitioners across NSW and ACT from 1 January 2016.

The Role
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Financial Officer works closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the Chief Operations Officer and the senior management team to provide financial, operational and programmatic support to the organisation.
Sharing our values and with a commitment to our mission and organisation culture, the Chief Financial Officer is involved in operational strategy and the creation and ongoing development and review of internal control systems and processes.
He/she will manage a finance team and will be responsible for overseeing GP Synergy’s financial planning, financial operation and funding and treasury functions and will participate and contribute to relevant management, board and other committee activity.
Selection Criteria
To be considered for this opportunity, it is essential that applicants meet the following criteria:
At least 7 years in a relevant accounting role
At least 3 years management experience
Bachelor degree qualification in accounting
Certified Practising Accountant (CPA) status
Current unrestricted motor vehicle licence and own transport.
Applicants with industry experience or exposure to government funding arrangements will be highly regarded.
