OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST LEVEL 1/2 – ADOLESCENT DAY UNIT
This position provides a comprehensive range of Occupational Therapy Services to patients of the Adolescent Mental Health Day Unit with a variety of mental health care needs. The position provides specialist skills in assessment and care of young people who are admitted to the Unit as part of a multidisciplinary teamwork approach to the provision of high quality mental care. Duties include assessment; coordination of a recovery focussed group therapy program; group and individual work that supports skill development and functional gain; care planning and report writing.

1. Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
2. Demonstrated understanding of key issues and current policy directions in mental health for young people.
3. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
4. Demonstrated commitment to service development and improvement.
5. Demonstrated high level communication skills, both written and oral.
6. Current NSW driver’s licence.
