CIVIL WORKS PLANT OPERATOR
Maitland City Council
Permanent Fulltime – 38 hours per week
Salary Range: $49,901 up to $55,390 + super
(Salary to be based on demonstrated competencies)
+ RDO every 4 weeks, long service leave after 5 years
Maitland City Council, a contemporary organisation, responsible for providing a wide range of services to Maitland and its growing population. Council is seeking motivated professionals to complement its dynamic and diverse workforce.
Working as a Civil Works Plant Operator, you will operate a variety of plant equipment in a safe and effective manner. This includes operation of a front end loader, backhoe, skid steer, excavator, grader (not for final trim) and other plant as required. Further, you will undertake general labouring duties to assist in the construction and maintenance of Council’s infrastructure.
To be successful in this role you will hold a Certificates of Competency for Front End Loader (LL), Backhoe (LB), Excavator (LE) or LS (Skid steer). Further, you will have contemporary industry knowledge and demonstrated experience in the operation of earthmoving plan with particular focus on Backhoe, Excavator and Skid steer operation.
