Purpose of Position
This position is responsible for providing financial and other support to assigned units across the District. It will also assist the Northern Illawarra Hospital Group as required. The position reports to the Finance Manager Northern Illawarra Hospital Group and will provide advice to the Clinical Directors and Managers of the services & General Manager Northern Illawarra Hospital Hub. It will also have a professional reporting line to ISLHD Manager Financial Services and be part of the internal management reporting functions of the District.

Selection Criteria
1. Tertiary qualifications in accounting or related discipline and/or relevant experience. 2. Demonstrated experience in financial principles / procedures / services and previous experience in the use of financial systems such as Oracle Financials. 3. High level communication, negotiation, liaison, interpersonal and problem solving skills. 4. High level computer skills in the Microsoft office applications, particularly excel, word and outlook. Proven ability to maintain accuracy of data and reporting of financial information within strict timeframes. 5. Ability to work independently and as part of the larger team within Financial Services and to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders. 6. Commitment and capacity to adhere to, and provide leadership in the implementation of ISLHD CORE values, government policies and practices, including EEO, OH&S;, cultural diversity, ethical practice and continuous improvement.
