The Role
Looking for a publicity-loving Account Manager or Senior Account Manager with at least three years' PR agency experience. With a passion for pitching stories and selling ideas to the media, this role would suit a true news-jacker with high-energy and a passion for what they do.
And You...
Have 3 + years' PR agency experience
Understand what makes news, how to develop story angles and be able to effectively pitch ideas to the media
Have solid media contacts and a natural inclination to pick up the phone and expand your media network
Are motivated and hungry and have an innate understanding of how to sell your ideas
Are constantly on the lookout for ways to add value for your clients - looking for new ideas and recommending them as appropriate
Can work at pace - you have the ability to respond to news developments quickly and effectively, and deliver optimal results for your clients
Have the confidence and experience to provide your clients with strategic counsel on day-to-day issues and resolving problems when required
Have a solid background across the consumer space, and an understanding and interest in health, well-being and living well
Thrive on juggling multiple accounts that involve media relations and content creation
Bring a solid understanding of the local industry landscape and the drive to stay on top of the media agenda
