TECHNICAL SERVICES OFFICER
The Illawarra Health and Medical Research Institute is a joint collaboration between University of Wollongong and the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District to foster, develop and grow health and medical research in the region. IHMRI is constituted as a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee under the Corporations Act 2001 (Commonwealth).
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager this position will support laboratory operations. It is a hands-on role involving day-to-day laboratory support activities.
We are looking for a positive and enthusiastic individual with a demonstrated understanding of principles and special requirements involved in working in a PC2 laboratory.

Note: This position will be filled under the usual employment arrangement with the University of Wollongong, however the incumbent will be seconded to work in the role within IHMRI Limited and will be accountable to the IHMRI Executive Director and Board. The secondment will be governed by an individual secondment agreement signed between the incumbent, the UOW and IHMRI Ltd.
