COLLECTIONS OFFICER

We are in an exciting phase where we are poised for significant growth and we are looking for experienced collection officers to complement our already dynamic team. The successful candidates will be responsible for their own portfolio as well as helping the team when the need arises.
They will be target and results focused whilst still maintaining the level of professionalism and service expected by our clients. There is parking nearby and we are only minutes away from the train station, shops and cafes.
Your duties will include:
• High volume inbound and outbound calls
• Assessing and reviewing documentation
• Providing exceptional customer service
• Negotiating payment arrangements, following up on matters
• Problem solving and conflict resolution on calls
• Strict adherence to compliance legislation and all client requirements
• Meeting team and individual targets and KPI’s
To be considered for this role you must have:
• Worked in a fast paced call centre environment previously and can handle pressure well
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as attention to detail
• A positive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ASIC, ACCC, NCCP and all other legislation relating to the collections process
• The ability to obtain a CAPI licence (background and criminal checks required)
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook
