CAFE SUPERVISOR
Based at Wollongong Hospital
Full-Time position – weekends required
Retail cafe hours between 6am-3.30pm

The Position
We are currently searching for an experienced and passionate Retail Cafe Manager to lead our small café team based at Wollongong Hospital. Reporting to an Operations Manager, the successful applicant will be responsible for executing the daily activities of the retail site, including operational, financial, administrative and people management responsibilities.
Key duties
Managing all day-to-day operations of the cafe
Maximise sales and profitability by soliciting, identifying and delivering on opportunities for growth
Merchandising and stock rotation to ensure department presentation standards are met
Ensure safe food handling and hygiene standards are maintained at all times
Enhancing workplace culture being that of a fun, friendly and fresh environment
The Person
Previous leadership experience in high volume food retail preferably in cafes
Demonstrated ability in people management, stock management, merchandise and loss prevention processes
Total commitment to the highest standards of customer service
Financial management skills
Great attention to detail with an excellent ability to multi-task and prioritise
Passion for providing outstanding customer service
