Purpose of Position
To provide consultation and education for mental health services and organisations such as government and non-government agencies. To provide effective leadership / mentorship in the provision of appropriate, timely and effective CAYMHS related mental health care within the Shoalhaven Community.
Permanent Part Time – 18 hpw.

Selection Criteria
1. Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) – List A, with a minimum of 5 years post-graduate registration and 3 years full time equivalent experience at advanced level in clinical specialty relevant to the field of medical nursing. 2. Appropriate post-graduate tertiary qualifications in a related field of nursing practice. 3. Proven clinical leadership & teaching skills and an ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework. 4. Proven ability to implement change and develop direction in clinical practice by the utilisation of evidence based research with a demonstrated understanding of current policies related to advanced nursing practice. 5. Demonstrated ability to design and implement continuous quality improvement programs. Sound understanding of principles of clinical risk management and the ability to apply both principles to improvements in patient care and service provision. 6. Demonstrated skills in data collection and analysis in nursing research, systems analysis, clinical practice improvement, practice development and quality activities. 7. Proven ability to think critically, flexibly, innovatively and creatively about service provision. 8. Current NSW Drivers Licence
