CREDIT CONTROLLER & ACCOUNTS CLERK (PERMANENT PART-TIME)

The role

We are looking for a Credit Controller/Account Clerk to join our friendly and committed Accounts team and be responsible for payment allocation and the designated ledger. Working Monday to Friday, 9am to 2pm, this role will report directly to our Management Accountant and based at our Chatswood office, this role involves:

Ensure that the allocated debtor ledger portfolio is properly maintained at an acceptable level.
Maintain accurate and up to date customer details and account records
Accurately process the allocation of EFT receipts (EFT/Cheque/Credit card) to client's accounts in a timely manner
Phone clients as needed requesting payment of outstanding amounts
Input all journals as required to amend client's accounts
Copy invoices and located PODs as requested and forward to clients
Issue demand letters and liaise with external debt collection agency
Key Skills and Experience

A recent graduate
Results and customer focused with excellent time management and process orientation
Able to build relationships and negotiate at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail
Computer literate
A confident and positive attitude
Integrity and trustworthiness
