About the Role
We are looking for an Education Agent with experience to international education student recruitment and agency account management to develop sales channels and to implement strategies to grow sales outcomes. You will need to demonstrate a proven track record in the international student arena, preferably dealing with the Chinese, Indian, or Korean market. The successful applicant will be wholly responsible for the establishment of an education agency within our existing business model.
Job Tasks and Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for developing a client base of international students, facilitating their enrollment and admission with Australian education institutions and building a revenue stream in line with the overall business plan.
Creating solid relationships with a range of education partners both onshore and offshore
Building a client base of international students
Providing education counselling for students to ensure the most appropriate course selection
Facilitating the enrollment and admission process for international students
Collating student visa applications based on entry requirements and admissions procedures
Using reference materials, such as the Australian Immigration Law, ESOS Act and associated National Code, Country Education Profile, ANZSCO and other reference material
Case and file management in accordance with company procedures
Keeping accurate records of deadlines, lodgements and case status and advising agents or clients about the status of cases
Developing and building strong client relationships with a network of education providers to secure ongoing agreements
Successful student placements whilst developing further markets and opportunities for growth
Developing exclusive marketing events and advertising
Participating in networking events
Skills and experience
Relevant practical experience in the international student market
Demonstrated sales achievement
Excellent knowledge of the Australian student framework and Department of Immigration and Border Protection visa system
Experience in organising student activities
Proficiency in social media marketing, including chat technologies
Excellent knowledge of the ESOS Act and associated National Code though the Department of Education, Employment and Work Relations (DEEWR) website
QEAC/PIER accredited
The ability to provide exceptional customer service and student liaison across all channels – written, phone and face to face
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and other languages (Chinese, Korean or Hindi)
Excellent organisational and time management skills, including the ability to manage and complete a variety of tasks with daily deadlines
Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Powerpoint and Outlook
