I am seeking to select a 2nd or 3rd Year Apprentice Marine Construction/Shipwright (or retired shipwright) to undertake a refurbishment of a 28 ft. production yacht on a sequential, part-time basis.

During the restoration it is proposed that the yacht will be stored in a cradle on the hardstand to facilitate ease of access, power, fresh water and amenity.

Some components of the Scope of Works will by necessity sub-contracted to specialist trades eg. Marine Electrical, upholstery and mast & rigging.

A scope of works will be provided to selected candidates for submission of a schedule of rates/ program and cost estimate.
