A 12 week fixed term opportunity has become available at Shoalhaven City Council for an experienced planner to lead and manage the day to day operations of the Social & Infrastructure Planning Unit staff, finances and assets.
This position represents a career development opportunity for a Planner looking to move upwards into a management role, and gain vital experience to add the their CV. The role will expect the person to operate in a political environment, and present on exciting future plans at Council and Committee meetings.
To be considered for the role, you will possess:
Degree Qualifications in Strategic Planning/Social Planning/ Recreation Planning or related discipline and postgraduate or specialist vocational training/education in the above.
Extensive experience in relevant or related fields, including Strategic Planning related to social, recreation, community & cultural infrastructure and program services.
Experience in management of a team of staff in the delivery of services.
