DATA ANALYST

The role of Data Analyst is a newly created role within CompliSpace with responsibility for all aspects of data frameworks and analysis within the company.
In this role your responsibilities will include:
Data Interpretation
Interpreting data, analysing results using statistical techniques and providing ongoing reports
Conducting full lifecycle data analysis to include requirements, activities and design
Identifying, analysing and interpreting trends or patterns in complex data sets
Leading client satisfaction driver analysis to quantify the importance of touch points to help prioritise focus and initiatives
Translating and interpreting data into meaningful insights, conclusions, storylines and key messages
Data Framework
Developing and implementing databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimise statistical efficiency and quality
Acquiring data from primary or secondary data sources and maintaining databases/data systems
Developing and implementing reporting frameworks to identify and capture critical data for reporting against KPIs
Data Monitoring
Filtering and “cleaning” data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to locate and correct problems
Implementing data cleansing, remediation and reconciliation activities to improve data quality in BAU and for transition to new systems
Data Communication
Helping internal and external stakeholders understand and translate analytical results into business actionable points
Assisting in the development of draft reports and correspondence for review by Executive tea
To be considered for the role you will need the following expertise:
Tertiary qualifications in economics, business, finance, commerce or statistics
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Data Analyst role
A strong track record in developing, interpreting and analysing business requirements
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving and lateral thinking experience with strong motivation to question and interrogate data
Experience working with NetSuite, JIRA, Confluence and Google Analytics
Proven experience in market research and business intelligence and data analytics
A background in designing and developing data management systems focusing on data governance, data quality and data management
Track record of translating data into strong key messages aligned to strategic business goals
Experience in implementing a data management framework
Experience in creating data standards and controls
Experience in data cleansing
Knowledge of data modelling techniques
Experience working within Agile methodology
Client focused – understanding client needs and market trends
