FEATURE SALES TELEMARKETER
The Illawarra Mercury are currently seeking a Features Sales Telemarketer.
Australian Community Media have been bringing news to our rural and regional communities for more than 150 years, as our business continues to evolve, by introducing new technologies and doing things differently, we can make our newspapers and websites even better than they have ever been.
This role is responsible for the delivery of advertising revenue across a portfolio of products. You will be responsible for building relationships with the community and advertisers in a proactive, outbound capacity.
Responsibilities of the role include:
Achieve the features and special publication sales revenue targets for the respective masthead
Maintain a thorough understanding of audience numbers
Provide advertising advice and services to the regional and rural business community
Maintain effective personal relationships with clients, through a genuine interest in their business
Maximise revenue for the mastheads integrated products
Meet and exceed print & digital budget targets

Experience with advertising booking systems and in a sales environment would be beneficial.
