About the Job

This stunning multi-faceted operation in the heart of Wagga Wagga is seeking a Sous Chef to assist the Head Chef in leading a passionate and professional culinary team.

You will be at the heart of a new community hub. Alongside the Head Chef you will be creating Asian fusion dishes with creative freedom. This role is unlike any other and will change the face of the Wagga Wagga dining scene, bringing to make a mark like no other.

The role comes with a fabulous brand new 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment with a pool & gym for $150 p/w.

About You

You will be a Sous Chef with trade qualifications and relevant post qualification experience. Ideally you will have come from a background of passion and dedication with experience in Thai or Szechuan cooking techniques.

You will have a high level of cleanliness in your work and a commitment to quality. Excellent communication skills and a strong leadership approach, especially across a diverse workforce, are essential for this role as well as the ability to oversee, train and get the best out of people every day!

You will have a creative and passionate approach when it comes to food and be willing to follow company direction and processes.

You will need to be an outside the box thinker and dedicated to finding new sources of sustainability for Australia booming restaurant market.
