REGISTERED NURSE FULL TIME – INTENSIVE CARE UNIT

It features state of the art equipment, facilities and patient services setting a benchmark for healthcare facilities in the Illawarra.
An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team of supportive and friendly staff in the Intensive Care Unit. You will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, developing and maintaining safe clinical practices and excellent clinical outcomes.
Essential Criteria:
Current registration with the AHPRA
Previous experience in an Intensive Care Unit
Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
Understanding of scope of practice in line with relevant registration
Ability to ensure excellence in customer service
Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
Excellent time management skills
Ability to assess, plan, co-ordinate and evaluate care delivery needs of patients
Knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to nursing practice
Knowledge of Quality/Continuous Improvement processes
