CONSTRUCTION WORKER
Civil Labourers and Operators
Due to upcoming new opportunities, Forsythes Recruitment are seeking applications from experienced civil labourers and operators. The works will be based on the Central Coast, Lake Macquarie and Hunter Region. Interviews will be conducted in the first week of January with the roles set to start in early to mid January.
About You
You have a minimum of 2 years experience working within the Civil Construction field, as a Labourer or an Operator. You may have RII qualifications or VOC to prove competencies inclusive of Roller, Excavator, Graders. You have a strong commitment to safety whilst ensuring you are safely achieving all tasks. Above all you are highly reliable and have a great attitude to work.
The successful candidate will possess
A current OHS Induction card (white card)
Experience on roads, subdivisions and other civil orientated sites.
Minimum of 2 years experience in similar role working in civil construction field
Good availability – Monday to Friday.
Strong work ethic and a reliable attitude
Strong understanding for site safety, OH&S; requirements and reporting any hazards.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
Willingness and Physical capability to perform labouring duties
Flexible with work hours to meet the requirements of the position
Own PPE – hi viz including steel cap boots, hard hat, safety glasses and gloves
Drivers licence and own reliable vehicle (MR/HR desirable)
Highly Desirable
Experience operating Machinery with RII or VOC
Traffic control tickets with experience
Certificate III in Civil Construction Plant Operations
All applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screen and may be subject to random testing through the duration of the assignment.
