JUNIOR BROADCAST SYSTEMS ENGINEER
One of the nation’s leading media organisations has positions available for a fulltime Junior Broadcast Systems Engineer for immediate start.
Be an integral part of a dedicated 24/7 team tasked with supporting and maintaining a streamlined on-air operation.
Responsibilities:
Support and maintain on air television broadcast systems, IT systems, broadcast studios and broadcast control rooms
Support and maintain IPTV and digital media infrastructure
Troubleshoot and repair broadcast equipment and IT equipment faults
Implementation of software and hardware upgrades
Installation and commissioning of broadcast and IT equipment
Work with internal teams and stakeholders to implement new and ongoing projects
Train and offer assistance to internal team members when the need arises
Qualifications:
Diploma in IT or Electrical Engineering
Willingness and self driven to learn new & related technologies
Self sufficient & efficient
Able to prioritise tasks to meet deadlines
Proactive, switched on & energetic
Excellent communication skills
Be part of a rotating shift schedule
Australian citizenship or permanent Australian residency with work rights are eligible
