Our Client
Our client is an international hospitality group working throughout the Australasian region. Inspired by small gestures of comfort that help to provide a homely environment for busy business travellers on the go.

The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their company. The territory you will be in is Illawarra, Southern Highlands, Canberra and areas of Sydney, and you could be located in Sydney or Wollongong.

The primary purpose of this position is to be responsible for the overall Sales and Marketing function.

Reporting to the Director or Sales & the Hotel GM some of your responsibilities include:

Building and maintaining relationships with clients, industry representatives and tourism bodies including entertaining prospects and existing key accounts
Maintaining effective communication with the Events team, National sales team and hotel management including the delivery of market intelligence
Sell all facets of hotel, including Rooms, Food & Beverage and other incremental revenue
Establish advertising and promotions action plan and budget as well as implement local and regional Advertising campaigns
To be successful in this role you will have experience in a territory sales management position, with demonstrated knowledge of the key hotel market segments and what influences their decision makers. Additionally, you must have a valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.

You will have the desire to work in a high pressure, achievement-oriented environment, and have the flexibility to work away from the office on a periodical basis.
