Wollongong Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are a collection of individual surgeons, working as a cohesive team committed to deliver the highest standard of care to each patient.
We are seeking an experienced and qualified Dental Assistant to join our team working part time on Thursdays and Fridays. This is a job share roll.
About the role:
Chair-side assisting oral maxillofacial surgery
Provide sterilisation and infection control solutions
Prepare patients and facilities for dental treatment
Assist with building patient relations
Assist with ad-hoc administration and reception tasks if required
Coordination of laboratory work
Maintain and implement procedures relating to the clinic
About you:
Certificate III in Dental Assisting essential.
Exceptional professional bearing, communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work autonomously and build relationships with patients
Strong written and verbal communication skills, including an outstanding phone manner
Flexible with working extra days if needed
