CIVIL CONSTRUCTION APPRENTICE
Civil construction is learning to construct formwork, concrete slabs, prepare work for concreting, build bridges and tunnels, both timber and concrete, construct footpaths and other civil works.
Sarina Russo’s client currently has a vacancy with their host employer for an apprentice to work on industrial and commercial sites and all over Sydney area including CBD including inner west, CBD, western suburbs.
Duties include learning operate paving machines, laying pipes, calculate quantities of materials, spread gravel, erect and dismantle barricades, load and unload equipment and much more.
Must be prepared to travel and meet on site, some construction experience or school related subjects will be highly regarded. The successful candidate must enjoy practical and outdoor work, be hard working and have good communication skills. Drivers Licence and own transport is required.
