We are looking for people to join our team who have a genuine desire to work with people to support them in their daily life activities.
Successful applicants will be directed by clients to provide relevant supports that facilitate their independence, ongoing skills development and community connections, in accordance with policies and procedures, industry standard, legislation and funding body guidelines.
Our clients have control over how much input they have into their service, and the level of involvement we have in their lives. The service may be made up of personal care, respite, assistance with daily living activities and companionship to enable clients to live safe and satisfying lives in their own homes.
Certificate III in Aged/Disability, Community Services or working towards and a First Aid Certificate are essential. Must be able to work flexible hours (including weekends) and fluency in relevant community languages is highly desirable. Applicants must have a current driver’s licence, reliable car and access to a smart phone.
The “CatholicCare Wollongong Enterprise Agreement 2013” provides for above award salaries and conditions. We are family friendly, offering career opportunities, training and development, flexible working conditions, and the opportunity to salary package up to $15,900 tax-free.
